Troop 6 Directions

Route 70 East / West to Herbertsville Road.
Head West on Herbertsville Road you will pass Herbertsville Fire House on the right.
Make right at 2nd traffic light after Fire House - Sally Ike Road
At stop sign turn left onto Squankum Allenwood Road
Entrance to group camp sites is on right just past the Parkway overpass about 100 yards.

Parkway South to exit 52 which is just past the New Gretna toll booth
Bear right off the exit
Go to first right - you should see signs for Bass River
Bear right and right again
Go about 1 mile, park entrance is on the left

Parkway south to exit 69
After toll booth make a left onto Rt 532 Wells Mills Road
Travel about 3 3/4 miles and make a left onto Brookeville Road
Just before the turn there is a sign "Joseph A Citta Scout Reservation"
The entrance to Citta Boy Scout camp is about 3/4 mile on the left.

Parkway South to exit 17
At the exit you should see signs for the park, turn left and go to intersection
Turn right follow signs to Route 9 North
At 1st main intersection, about 1/2 mile, turn left onto Rt 550
Go to the end, approximately 9 miles
Turn left onto Rt 557 South and then right at blinking light heading towards town of Belleplain
Park is on the right about a mile
Stop at rangers station just inside the park on the right.

Route 70 West through Lakehurst and Whiting area. Continue on Route 70 West, you will see a sign on the left side of the road for Brendan T. Byrne State Forest (by mile marker 27.5). If you get to Route 72 you went about 1 mile too far. Upon entering you will be on Four Mile Road, go past the Ranger's Station on your right and make a left at the stop sign onto Shinns Road. Follow the signs for the "Family Camping Area" just past Pakim Pond. When you near the Pakim Pond area you will make a right onto Coopers Road which will lead you directly to the camping area. By the way, you will be lucky if you find any street signs.

Take County Line Road toward Jackson to the jug handle for Bennett's Mills Road South
Go approx. 2 miles on Bennett's Mills Road to North Boston Road
Make a right onto North Boston Road
Go 2 blocks and make a right onto Olev Drive.
Looks like regular residential street then turns into dirt road entrance to the camp

Route 70 West about 9 miles West of Herbertsville Road, Turn right at County Road 571/Ridgeway Rd (traffic Light), Continue to follow County Road 571 about 4.0 mi (changes to Toms River Road as you drive) Turn right at Lakehurst Ave and drive about 1.8 mi, Make a sharp right at Ollie Burke Rd after about 0.2 mi take the 1st right onto Dorathys Ln. About 0.3 mi further make left onto a dirt road with a gate, drive to end of the dirt road. Address for GPS is 704 Dorathys Lane, Jackson, NJ 08527

Parkway South to exit 52 which is just past the New Gretna toll booth
Bear right off the exit
You will pass signs for Bass River State Park at a fork in the road - bear to the left on to Stage Road (654 N)
This is a confusing area with many roads coming in, but you want to stay on Stage Road heading West
After the 1st fork, stay straight at the 2nd fork - it happens within a few hundred yards
You will pass a sign to route 9, ignore and stay straight
Go to the end ( about 1.4 miles) and make a right at the stop sign
A few miles ( about 3.3 miles) up you will see signs for camping on the right and Bodine Field on the left
Turn left onto the dirt road and bear to the left
Follow the dirt road until you come to Bodine field, about 1.5 miles

Use caution and stay on the road - you can easily become stuck in the soft sugar sand

Parkway South to exit 58
Off exit make right onto 539 North
Range a few miles up on the left
If you get to the Warren Grove Bombing Range, you went a little too far

Parkway South to exit 80 - ramp turns into 3 lanes - Stay to your left initially, then you want to be in the middle which will bring you to a stop sign - follow signs for 530 west.
At stop sign make a right - go about 200 feet - at traffic light make a left onto County Road #530 West
Go 2.9 miles and bear right just before traffic light - you will still be on #530 West
Go 1.6 miles and make a left onto Mule Road, the entrance to Robert J. Miller Air Park
Go straight 0.7 miles - parking lot entrance is on the right.

Route 80 West to Exit 273 (old exit 40 in PA):
Go west on Route 940 for 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Lehigh Gorge Drive. Go 4.8 miles and turn right onto Buck Mountain Road. Go 1 mile to first intersection. Turn right again onto North Stagecoach Road. Go 300 yards to our entrance on the right.

The park is 30 miles north of Bloomsburg on PA 487. The section of PA 487 from the town of Red Rock to the Lake Jean area of the park is a very steep road. Heavy trailer units should avoid this hill and enter the park by taking PA 487 south from Dushore.
